Default The Very Odd Accord EX...bogus engine?

So I drive a 92 accord ex. I take a look at the engine code and I see F22A1. As far as I know, all 92 Accord Ex's are supposed to have the F22A6. Could this be an engine swap of some kind or could you just buy the car with the less powerfull F22A1?

1. ECU (f22a1 and f22a4 used PT3, f22a6 used PT6)
2. exhaust manifold (f22a1 had a 4-1, a4 and a6 had a 4-2-1)
3. cam (f22a6 had a slightly better cam)
4. secondary intake runners (feature on the a6)

its kind of impossible to tell which of the above you have or dont have, as they are all interchangeable and you cant tell without looking...

but if i were going to assume:

1. PT6 is better, but will run the A1 fine... so they probably just left the pt6 hooked up
2. probably left the a6 exhaust manifold in there, why buy the a1 one when you dont need to
3. probably left the a1 cam in the f22a1.
4. depends if they got the new a1 with an intake manifold or not. ive installed a1's with a6 manifolds, also the other way around. you can tell if its an a6 manifold if theres a round metal plunger on the side of the manifold near the fuel pressure regulator.
