like stated, is the timing belt tensioner same for all, mines is going bad and not holding.

 

sounds like you need to tighten it more, stock torque spec is 40 foot pounds

if you recently did a timing belt on your car it could be the belt is strecthing out

but I would re-tension it and torque it to 40 ft/lbs and see if the problems repeats itself

 

no just arp head studs and oem head gasket, belt looks fine but always a bit of slack.
