Default Ok, who has trouble fitting in their fit?

Drove my new Fit to and from work yesterday about an hour each way. By the time I got there my right knee and ankle were killing me. Didn't notice anything wrong in the test drive but that was only maybe 20 minutes.

I've figured out that the problem is the angle my leg takes to get to the pedals and there is no support under my right thigh, so I'm constantly having to hold my leg up.

Also, not having a dead pedal makes my left leg really uncomfortable on longer drives. Luckily my wife will be driving this thing 90% of the time anyway, but I was just wondering if anybody else has a problem with this.

I'm not really tall. only 5'11. I have the seat slid all the way back and tilted a bit, makes the legs feel a bit better but the reach to the wheel is a bit far now.

Other then that I like everything else about the car.

Im 6'1 ~220 and no problems like that. A dead pedal would be nice though for long trips.

Apparently I'm just a freak then.

Oh well, I'll probably get used to it... it's my wifes car anyway.

put a 'low position' seat rail in it.
lowers you in the car giving your legs a little more room.

The only thing I've found to give me any bit of an annoyance is the angle of the accelerator. But I think I've overcome it now...

If I do long drives, my right ankle and Knee starts to hurt. I do wish that the seat went back further a notch or two. I am 6'1".
