Blew my motor...and yet again...another project...=p



Thinkin about putting it back to stock now...and going with a g35...or a 350....What you guys think? Keep building on it...or move on?

lovin the color, well how much is it gonna cost you to repair it compared to a G35 which is $$$... i was thinkin about selling my gsr but i cant build the courage to do it... i love it that much

Did a valve hit the piston, or what exactly is that damage?

I'd say this is a perfect opportunity to rebuild it completely. Low compression, and boost.

 

Lol...damn that's what i'm saying...sounds like you guys would struggle with this decision too. Well the thing is everything is fine with the head i took it to SP auto and let them clean it and compression test it,everything seems to be fine...it is on it's way to lower compression piston but i am still debating if i should just QUIT Honda's and go big with a g35 or 350. I want a drift mechine now..lol...i dunno DECISIONS DECISIONS...!!!

that's a good POINT!!...haha...But the thing is..it's hard to leave the Honda world..Especially when your only 19...=p..Plus i put alot of work in to that damn car....Plus i got a Xterra to rock the boat with..=p You know...Females like the softer rides..

 

If you already have an Xterra to use as a daily driver, that's even more reason to build this Integra up as a fun fast car. You'll miss the feeling if you sell it and get a big expensive G35.

 

I dont recommend the g35,i have driven 2 of them, tho it looks amazing... it has the worst transmission ever in my opinion

 

i completely and absolutely regret selling my integra for my s2k. if you have a daily driver already. id say keep the integra. trust me...you WILL regret it.

Hum...very interesting to hear that... I need to go test drive one to see how i like it....yah...i do like having the integra around..but i feel like i'm growin out of it already for some reason...??..and i'm only 19....

Wow...that's also surprising to hear that you would take a Integra over s2k....and reason?...i test drive a 05 s2k and i didn't like it very much. One i was WAY too big for that car. 2 is that car feels like it's WAY underpowered....

like you said...the s2k is way underpowered down low. i went from a b20 integra rs with weight reduction to my s2k. i loved the feeling of having power when i wanted it around town with the teg. its just not there with the s. its also not a very comfortable car. but that wasnt hondas intentions with the car. its a sports car. and i knew wat i was getting myself into. im learning to love it. especially the corners
