Default I think my release bearing is loose, How serious?

Well Guys I got my b18 swap finished, I originally thought my release spring was broke, but I tightened the hell out of my clutch cable and viola! I have a clutch! BUT! Now when I accelerate and engine brake, there is like a "grinding" type noise, could it be the release bearing on the pressure plate? Or do metallic clutches just sound like that?
If it is the release bearing, is it something that can wait or do I have to take the tranny off right away and fix it.

if your release berring is fuct you have to pull out trans an replace. it could be stuck or only 1 side is hooked on the spring. either way better to pull trans and take a look.
