k so i bought a head for a 96 civic and i have a 95 civic i was told that it will still fit onto my block. (d15b7 block) (d16y7head) well i go to autozone just as all who cannot afford much, and buy a head gasket for the d15b7 block and i take it home and the writing on the package says it will fit a d15b1, b2 and b6. also it will fit the d16a6. i dont know if it will fit on my block but, i did however put it up to the head and not all the head holes fit. now im concerned that it will not fit my block at all. i have also been told that most of the d series haeds and blocks can be easily interchangable. well i need any help anyone can offer bc i cant move forward until im completely sure i can finish the job. please people can someone point me in the right direction.

 

why not just buy a head for the d15?
