Default Modifying stock GSR intake manifold?

Has anyone P&P or had a GSR intake manifold extrude honed? And has it showed any benefits, reasonable benefits, worth keeping the stock system. It seems like alot of people run the single stage manifolds but it seems like the stock manifold could offer good low end power benefits due to the dual stage setup if it were properly modified.

These arent stock GSR manifolds. I'd like to find someone who has modded one and can provide insight on whether its worth the trouble or not.

I doubt you'd find anyone who has gone to the effort. In all honestly, if you're looking at that extensive of a mod for power, you would probably not be content knowing that the high rpm short runners will have their flow interrupted (however slightly it is or isn't) by the butterflies.

The reason for the link is most of the people listed there offer porting on the GS-R manifold as well. If you go to Endyn's web site I know they have it listed.

Also, someone can correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Erikk Agular (sp?) used to run a heavily modified GS-R manifold?

i wouldnt waste all that money to modify the stock GSR manifold. just get a AEBS or blox manifold for like $150. with tuning, you wont lose any torque or midrange power

If the GSR dual stage builds max torque at an earlier rpm would it be beneficial to move peak torque closer to the peak hp by using a more top end power dedicated manifold? Wouldn't having peak torque close to peak hp allow for a better transition btw gears?
