just like the title says, has anyone ever done it? On a scale of1-10, 10 being the hardest, can you rate it...I am buying a car this weekend, and the window regulator is bad on the driver side, and I would like to replace it there, so I can enjoy my 1200 mile drive home with the window down

I put one in my 99 coupe and it took me like 30 minutes so I would have to rate it like a 3. The hardest part is working in the little cut outs in the door.

 

that is what I figured. I have replaced windows before, so I wouldn't think that it would be that hard, but I am going to be doing this at JFK air port in NY

 

im not that great with cars but changin the regulators was a fun project. i'd give it a 2. its not that hard and doesnt take that long.
