I've had an H motor in my accord for a few months now and ran fine but today i went to start it and it would turn over and fire but it wouldn't start. also lately my dash lights and clock have been turning off everynow and then (gauges would all drop and clock with turn off but would come back on within a few seconds).

i was thinking the problem could be my main relay, or a fuel pump relay and the dash going out being a coincidence.

any ideas?

 

New thought... i have a sound system in my car (subwoofers, ect) would a bad alternator be a culprit for these symptoms? as in the sound system wore my alternator to hell and it died.

 

Check on the main relay and the altenator maybe it one of those things.
