Yes you can use your same headgasket. A blockguard has nothing to do with ur headgasket. IMO I dont like blockgaurds because they mess with the flow of coolant and they really dont do anything... But I dunno anything about H series anyway goodluck

Once you take any gasket off the rule of thumb is your always supposed to replace it. Especially a headgasket.
