Default Best suspension For ITR

If money wasn't a issue what suspension would you put on a ITR.
It is half a street car and half a road race track car.
I have a good tolarance for bumps and really no bumpy streets around.

Search key is useful.

Depends on what "track" you mean. Depends on how bad the roads are by you. Depends on what your tollerances are for a good ride. Depends on another 50 variables.

For the street, I will agree wholeheartedly Stock ITR > Zeal Function B6, Buddy Club RSD, Ohlins xxx, KYB + Skunk2

For the track, they're also great for a noob/intermediate driver. I should've stayed on stock suspension longer than I did, but even getting in 4 or 5 events on stock was good.

You haven't driven a car with a real suspension on it then

Sounds like you really need to keep your stock suspension until you are ready for a more aggressive setup. In the meantime, IMO you should use the money you were interested in using to upgrade your suspension and find some track events to attend including Expo 7

Ohlins

Spoon

Mugen

KW

Moton

These are among the best
I ran Spoon N1's on my R and loved them, but you have to really drop the car to take full advantage of any true N1 or race coilover for the R

If you go with something more geared towards road use, like bilstein, or koni or Omni-sport then you wont have to drop it as much to acheive the right geometry

For a more reasonably priced setup, I would also recommend PIC. They support a racing series and they spent a lot of time, money and effort to be a trackside support and develop their suspension based on instant feedback from the racers.

If you don't mind shelling out more, the Mugen N1 is very well proven.

Then others like KW, Ohlins, Motons, Spoon, etc etc.... the list goes on.

I saw his screen name and IM'd him TWICE to inquire what One6 did that upset him so much. If he's gonna whine about it, at least let people know why.

**And I highly doubt that he is really looking for suspension advice. He just wants to start a thread to let people see his screen name.

I am in no way affiliated with One6. But since I am from the same area, it is still good to know if they did something horribly wrong that warrant the public negativity.

I just think Marc talks behind people back and rags on his customers. And i have seen him mess up too many of my friends car lately. Marc won't not take the fault on that he forgot assmenble the motor right and ect to long to really into it.
Pm me if you want the whole story.
The shop i go to now is a little north of there......

Koala Yummies your ITR looked awesome last time i saw that Gunmetel paint job really works with the MUgen wheels.

Well thank you, they were borrowed wheels from a friend, Stern Aguzzezeezesz or whatever.

I run Mugen lowdowns, but at Expo I was running Koni Yellows with Ground Controls (400 lbs in front/500 lbs/in rear) along with the tophats. I really liked that setup and do a lot of HPDEs/tracking. That setup was great for the price, changeable springrates, running with the JDM 23mm rear anti roll bar the car felt great.

A photo of that setup: http://www.we-todd-did-racing....x.jpg

And I'm sure everyone has seen the Lowdowns: http://www.we-todd-did-racing....x.jpg
