Sold a ITR valvetrain to a guy in Europe. Not making anything on it since I included shipping in the price. Couldn't find it so I offered him a new Rocket Motorsports valvetrain for no extra charge. He accepted. I've been tied up with my business and 2 other jobs and haven't been able to get the VT shipped or get back to him about it. He has filed a paypal claim and my account is now frozen preventing me from filling out other orders I have for my business (he is not a customer of my business, but bought the VT from me personally). He said he can't trsut me and won't lift the claim until he receives a tracking number. Since this is affecting any business I can do I told him I'm not shipping until the claim is dropped. If you know me or have done business with me in the past, please chime in on it.

Why can't you have RM ship them to you directly then to him? They don't take credit cards over the phone? Only paypal?

 

Chris, I have never done business with you but plan to in the near future. Its unfortunate that people on here cant just chime in positively instead being negative about it all.

It was great that you and Rocket Motorsports had sponsored Expo6. I think people here have failed to realize that just like guests and drivers, sponsors are equally important. Give him a little credibility guys. On top of it all, its amazing the age you are and yet you still sponsored Expo.

If you were tied up with 2 or 3 jobs, I would completely understand the situation.

I dont know what this vouch will do but I would personally place my credibility on the line for you. Whatever its worth, if anything at all.

 

It would be costly and add a longer delay in him getting the VT if RM ships to me first. RM accepts paypal (CC's can be used with paypal) and MO's from dealers. MO would take too long and I don't use cards.

Thanks Migs, but the products I gave away at Expo came from my pocket alone, Rocket Motorsports just happened to be one of those products.

EDIT: Off to job # 2 now. Hopefully the buyer will have a good resolution for me when I get home.

 

Not for nothing guy, but the buyer is in control and is making you look bad. If you have to take a hit in order to clear your business up you should do it. What are vouches from strangers going to do? Sure, I have met you and you seem like a stand up guy but the buyer is over seas and if I were in his shoes I wouldn't give a **** as to who was vouching for a guy I thought was scamming me.

I'm already taking a hit sending him the RM valvetrain. I don't mind that. It's that I can't send it with the account frozen. If he doesn't mind a delay (which he needs the VT soon) then I would just send a MO to RM but that doesn't help with orders that have to be placed tomorrow (Friday) for my customers. I'll let this be my last post until I hear from him. This is probably killing my rep but oh well.
