Just replaced 90dx Brake Master Cylinder with Prelude 15/16 and have a question
I have a question - I just replaced my 90 dx master cylinder yesterday they didnt have the 1 I needed so I went with the 89 prelude 15/16 bench'd it then installed it and then continued to bleed the brakes - the brakes work and pedal doesnt fall anymore and feels alittle firmer and not that I try to lock up the brakes but I cant even get them to if I try seems kinda wierd I push the sh**t out of the damn pedal and cant do it - anyone have any ideas why it feels kinda weird just seems to brake not qute as well as before -- just doesnt feel like it used to brake-wise if you know what I mean
Any Ideas would be helpful on what I could possibly look into

i can only say you didnt bench bleed and bleed the lines properly.
are you REALLY trying to brake hard? like from 30mph and STOMPING on the brakes!?

yea I am stomping on the brakes - I guess maybe It may not be bled right I mean I bench'd the mc till not more bubbles took about like 10 minutes installed the mc then the brake lines then proceeded to bleed the lines till no air coming out - put the tires back on and dunno what else i could have done wrong - maybe I should try a stock mc just for the hell of it to see what I get
good point there - I didnt chk the pad brand I know theres still alot left on them they may be no-names that were on there from when I bought the car a few weeks ago Ill swap them out - any ideas on a decent brand to try out I usually just buy oem pads most of the time

I put the larger civic ex master cylinder on my car and it feels the same way. Putting on a bigger master cylinder makes the pedal stiffer, and takes more effort to stop. Put prelude brakes/calipers etc and it will feel normal then
