Here is a video of Saturdays H1 race. Jason (blk/gold ITR) and Chad (blue SI) are both K20 powered and Pete(yellow EG) and Adam (yellow ITR)are H22 powered. I'm running a B18C5.

Also, my transmission is in bad shape so the start is a little slower then usual, 2nd to 3rd is a bitch.

PS. Ignore the lockup into turn one. :smack: At least I saved it.

Good job being patient and not forcing the issue. It seemed like a couple times Adam didn't have a very good awareness where you were and things could have gotten ugly had you tried to drive it in for the pass.

Nice! Just out of curiousity, was Todd in there mixing it up with you guys?

 

excellent driving, chris!

i do believe that if you hadn't been fighting with adam, you would have been right with chad/jason.

the two front running Ks and adam in the H were pulling a ton on the straights on you, but man o man, you were making up about 4-5 lengths in the hard brake zones and some more in the handling.....

there was some really good close racing going on at VIR last weekend!!!

i'm looking forward to the next race!!!!

Thanks! yeah, the K's and H22's were really strong on the main straight.

He was right up on me for a bit. Todds always keeping me on my toes!

 

Wow nice video Chris, It shows it doesn't matter what engine you have in H1 you can mix it up. It looks like a tough course to pass on but you were patience and so was Jason and you both got the Job done. Ultimately I think the K's had the advantage but some good racing none the less.

Nah, I knew where Chris was ... all over my ***!! Just good clean racing. We're still working out our new supension setup, so the car was a REAL handful on Saturday ... way too much understeer. We made some changes, and it was better on Sunday. Chris's car is much superior under braking and cornering right now, so it made for good racing. He made a great pass , used patience. Can't wait for the next race!! Great Job Chris!!!!!

I also agree.
There was a slight pause before
he shut the damn door

 

Man I was there, just watching it was plenty exciting. HC put on a nice show (both Saturday and Sunday).
