Default Muffler Question

Hey guys, i currently own a 95 Honda Civic and i have a simple question to ask. I was wondering, is it possible to remove my stock muffler by itself and replace it with a new one. Is this a simple procedure or do i have to get a new exhaust system? I dont know much about cars so please answer with as much details as you can. Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Muffler Question (stunt)

if you want to do something like that it is possible...all u have to do is buy a "hi-flow muffler" aka fartcan and cut off your stock muffler, get some adaptors to get ur stock 1 7/8" exhaust up to the inlet of the new muffler, usually 2.5". Weld ur exhaust togther so it is at the right (hight, length...) Then go ahead and weld some hangers on. You should be good to go and cause some good ol' hate and discontent
