If he works at Honda, why not get the correct cap and rotor?

Because Honda doesn't carry Acura stuff. Pretty gay.

I can tell you this, I tried putting my stock SIR-II (B16A) cap on my friends C1 and it didn't sit right. as for the rotor, I have no idea.

Just go to an Acura dealer. Not like cap and rotor costs hundreds of dollars or anything

listen, if parts companys made parts that were not as good or better then OEM why would they be in buisness? and they are offered for a mid to extreme lower price.
think about it.

that is the dumbest logic I've ever heard.

Why are they in business? Because they make cheap parts for cheap money and sell to morons.

1) Anyone who thinks a CAP and ROTOR costs $350 is a goddamn idiot i.e. You, splashy.

2) OEM Acura Cap and Rotor price: http://www.acuraoemparts.com/d...ch=no

Cap: 17.16
rotor: 15.88

3) When the OP said $350 he was also including other miscellaneous things (which will still be LESS than $350.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 95civickid &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i guess but i like the fact that its OEM, i mean im Doing a major Tune up- New water pump, cap & rotor, Timing Belt, Flushing the radiator changing ALL the FLUIDS, ALL the Belts, Adjusting Everytthing making sure everything is to spec.</TD></TR></TABLE>

So splashy, you're gonna buy some cheaper timing belt/water pump from Vatozone because its cheaper and better than OEM right? Real smart
