2 questions.....(brakes and seatbelts)

I need to do my rear drums the shoes are making that warning noise.
I am on the road and cannot get drums to shop to turn them if I take them off my car.
How bad would it be to just replace the shoes/pads, and not turn the drums/rotors?

My seatbelt has stopped latching.
Is this reparable, or just replace?

Dealer gave me so much trouble and refused to fix it. Kept saying the belts were supposed to work like that. Howdy Honda - Austin, TX - not nice - scumbag dealership. This is not my first incident with them. Any avoidance of having to get anything out of a dealership is good. I suggest you go with a rollbar and harnesses. Much safer.
ya most of the time they dont want to do anything that doesnt make any money for them.
go in for a free service they are supposed to honor, come out with a new car .

do you mean it doesnt click into the female part, OR when you hit the brakes, it doesnt "catch" in the door itself.
if the belt doesnt catch in the door itself theres a seatbelt module that controls when the belt grabs thats needs replacing on 90-91's.
the reason i knwo so much about this is mine was causing the map seatbelt indicator light to go off on my old 90 dx and i just unplugged the thing to get it to shut off and it almost cost me my life when an ******* in a ford explorer tired to kill me.
the belt didnt grab and i went a lot farther foward then i should have.
my hands and arms on the steering wheel are all the kept me from going through the windsheild.
so anyway, dont expletive around with seatbelts. as said above, if its a physical thing, go directly to the dealer.
if its electrical in the door REPLACE THE MODULE. its to the right of the radio console under the dash.

Doesnt matter if its the shoulder harness or the seat buckle itself . I work at a honda dealership , Seat belts are life time warranty. Please dont stereo type all of us Honda technicians or even honda dealerships yes we cant make everyone happy. Also on your brake question if I read your post correctly rear drums dont have squeal indicators hopefully you ment rear disc becuase if they are drum it might be alittle too late to resurface those drums
I'm not stereotyping: Howdy Honda in Austin, TX
This was the second time they dicked me over, and I've had other friends screwed over by their service as well. Last time they tried to take apart the dash in my S2K to fix the heater control valve which is in the engine compartment. They didn't even look at the car before they decided it was an under the dash issue, and wanted to charge me a hell of a lot of money. They were very happy to change out the seatbelts until I told them it was under warranty.
