i want to know how many hrs labor to change the oil pump? i want to take it the the ship....but the charge me 70$ per hr. i forget ask them how many hrs...please...tell me

 

However long it takes them. It might take one of us "x" amount of hours and them "y" amount of hours. What are you going to do if it takes them longer than mentioned on here? Tell the mechanic that some people on honda tech said it wouldnt take that long?

 

Actually there is a book most mechanics use to estimate man hours for a job. It is pretty standard practice. It is however an estimate and it could be more (or less). All depends on the shop, and how many problems they run into etc.

 

Also just to throw you a GUESStimate, I would say no more than 4hrs. I could prolly do it is about 3 with a hoist and all the right tools at hand. And I am no mechanic.

 

I would say honda quotes that as a 7hr job easy.

 

I would trust precisionh23a's estimate over mine. I really have no experience with mechanics cause I do everything myself.
