5k CDN? Is that 4k USD? Not bad. The only damage is to the headlight and mirror? The clipons and forks are ok?

First bike?

I wouldn't. If he knocked another $1500 off, then maybe.

Buying a bike this week, i'm picking between a 2001 Yamaha R6, 21xxxkm, been dropped in the left side (minor scratches), broken right headlight and left broken mirror or a 2001 600cc Honda CBR F4i, 21xxxkm, nothing wrong w/ it.Which bike would you guys think is a solid bike that I could drive around the city and you think is better? Same price

i would go with the F4i. unless you can get a REALLY good deal on the R6 because of the damage. the F4i is an excellent machine and probly a better all around bike than the R6

my statement was probly to general. wether or not its better all around depends allot on personal preferance and the value the individual places on the different considerations when comparing one bike to the other.

you sandbaggin son of a bitch!

But seriously, I'd go with the F4i. I know nothing about that R6, but i know it's been dropped, and he wants too much for it.
You didn't say the price for the F4i.

Can't get motards street-legal anymore, unless they were to begin with. CA DMV has some awesome laws...
