Leak through Door Speakers
I left my car out in the rain just recently. When I came back to check for leaks, I noticed a little trail of water coming down from the slots where the door speakers are.
I saw a thread about this before. I tried searching for it and haven't seem to have found it yet.
I am hoping that someone could possibly give me tips as to what I should do (like seal anything specific). If anyone already know where this other thread is, please link it.

I have the same leak but it isn't too bad that I have bothered to fix it. I will be taking it apart to fix it as soon as the weather cools down here though.

I'm pretty sure there is no way to prevent this, other than having your window in a fixxed closed positon, and sealling the window shut. It is just water going throught the window seal. They block most water out, but now all. Thats why the holes in the bottom are there. Every car I've ever worked on has them. Thats also why the little plasic sheeting is inside the door to keep the water on the outside, and not come in and leak on the door panel. I fthe window seals were perfect and water tight it would be really hard to roll your window down, if not imposssible. They make little foam speaker pod inserts, they would keep the backs of your speakers from getting wet if you are really woried about it. It really isn't that big of a deal. If a speaker gets a little wet, it isn't going to die instantly or anything.

pull the speaker grill.
remove the speaker itself, also remove the plastic tray the speaker sits in.
take 2-3 plastic shopping bag like from the supermarket, put the plastic ring into it.
put the 2 speaker wires through the bag in the smallest hole possible.
seal the hole in the bag AROUND the wires using either hot glue, silicon or otherwise.
pull the bag taught against the plastic speaker hub.
(you dont want all lose slack that the window will hit and tear a hole in it)
insert the bag and pastic ring into the door, screw it in.
connect the speaker to the two wires, screw in the speaker.
if you want, trim some of excess bag thats left over.
replace speaker grill.
no more leak into the car, it will just go thorugh the holes in the bottom of the door.
