Default question on tires for my sportbike

first off its a 01 f4i. these are the tires that came with the bike when i bought it. the front is a 120/70zr17 dunlop sportmax. its about worn. the back is a 180/55zr17 michelin pilot. it too is about worn. i called my buddy i bought the bike off of and he said the tires only have about 2000 miles on them. he said they are worn becuase they are a super soft compound, and becuase i do too much back and forth driving. well, thats what i bought it for, to get around on. not necessesarily to hammer thru corners with 24/7. whats some good tires i can get for this bike that will hold up better than these super soft compounds that are on there now? more geared towards commuting i guess....i dont like these flat spots that are starting to form

i will get pics when the batteries are done charging. the back one has a significant flat spot in the middle, and the front was worn up to the wear bars

Flat spots will get you in trouble if you tip the bike over for turns. It will be a real hard transition when you're straight up and down, and all of a sudden the bike tips into the turn (when you lean it).
