Default rebuilding b17a1???

i got a b17a1 in my crx that im thinking of rebuilding. I want to get a few more ponies out of it without really killing my pockets. Its got about 160k on the motor now. its also my daily driver so high compression im trying to stay away from..
any info id appreciate!!!

cheap HP would be gsr or type r cams would be a good start swap in a type r manifold. but the be upgrade would be to swap in some b16 pistons. compression on that motor is really low 9.7:1. all these mods will wake the motor up short of turbo or nos. however it has a great compressin ratio for either.

what about integra type r pistons?
i know the civic type r pistons would be too much of a jump in compression...

Depends on which ITR pistons. With the USDM ones, you looking around 10.xx? With the JDM ones, you're looking at 11.xx? Don't quote me on thse numbers. Go check here:
