Default need help molding fiber glass lip to stock bumper.

first off yes i know its not a very good idea to mold fiberglass to plastic but im going for it since i cracked my fake azect rear lip the other day when my muffler caught the head of a bolt holding a speed bump down and then it made my muffler cram into my lip. ive gto 2 ideas the first one is just to use fiberglass sheets and rezin to mold the lip in then bondo it smooth. 2nd idea is to use door seem adhesive to attach the lip and again smooth it out with bondo. if it doesnt work i dont mind i will just go back to a 98-01 style rear bumper but hell if this can work that would be sweet cuz i love the lip and i have always wanted to mold it into the bumper and this is the time to try it out. thanx
