Default Norcal Bay Area: I want a Fit

Any dealers that can hook it up?
I called around in the Davis area and there wasn't any dealerships with the Fit in stock.
I went to Serramonte Honda and there was 1 Fit there, but it was sold, so I couldn't even sit in it.

I am from South San Francisco area.
Hook it up Thanks

You're a troll ***** because you live in So San Francisco where there are probably 35 dealers in a 30 mile radius and you post a question if there are "any dealers". Even if you're just stupid you're still a troll *****.

fitfokker youre a stupid *** bitch so shut up. ey 95zilvia im sure that all the deallers in San francisco have a mark up of $1000 or more, ive called 20-30 dealers in california and theres only one that sells it at MSRP:san leandro Honda. but the wait is pretty long because of the ling waiting list. but if you find another dealer that sells it at MSRP then you make sure that you let me know.

It's actually not a bad idea to post the local dealer prices here so that maybe a potential buyer on HT can benefit from the information.

LOL

You never ask how much a dealership is selling a car for. They are ALWAYS going to say high. What you do is go in, and NEGOTIATE with them. Trust me, you go in with how much the MSRP is, and negotiate with them, you can get a good price. I got mine only $100 over MSRP, but with some added goodies, like a 4 year, 50,000 mile warrenty.

Don't think that any dealership gives a rats *** about lazy people who call. They know that the only peole they care about are the people they have sitting in their showroom "ready to buy a car". And, you can get some good deals if you get upset and start to walk out. Trust me, when you are sitting there, they are going to do whatever to get you to spend money there. If they know you will just go somewhere else, you have the better position to negotiate price. But don't be lazy and ask for deals over the phone or over the net. That is just dumb.

yeah that's true that you can do business better in person than a phone but. this car is "HOT" right now a lot of people are willing to pay a lot more over MSRP for the car. the dealers dont really care if they dont get business from you when there are so many others out there that are willing to pay their asking price for the damn car.

Well, that wasn't the case for me. Then again, they told me over the phone that they could get me a MT Sport within 2 days if I came down to their dealership. Well, I did, and then the story changed. After being there no more than 5 minutes (took me 3 hours to get there) being there, they tried to change the story, and tell me it would take 30 days.

I came unglued. Not yelling, but flat out telling them that "You got me down here on false pretenses, and now that I am here, you are "baiting and switching" me to take your base automatic, or wait 30 days. Well, needless to say, that put me and my wife in the control. Needless to say, they found a MT Silver Sport THAT DAY, and I walked out with it only $100 over MSRP with wheel locks and 4 year 50,000 mile warrenty.

Another thing you have to remember. He who has the money, has the real control. Dealerships can only try to take control of the sale. It is up to you to let them, or you keep control.

Plus, I was told from many dealerships that "They sell faster than they can get in..." Which is just a sales tactic. That makes the car sound worth more than MSRP. Then they can jack up the price. Do some research, and go in with a stong idea what you want and want to pay. Trust me, dealerships hate people like that, but none the less, they love your money.

Hey Quang-a-long,

I'm not a stupid *** bitch and I'm not gonna shut up. Hurling profanitities will not earn you any respect anywhere. I stand firm on my quote for calling 95zilva stupid for not being able to find a Honda dealer in one of the most populace areas of the U.S. If you think I'm wrong I'm open to hear your ideas.

sorry for calling you names and all but i still think it's wrong for you to be calling other people names like troll *****, like that is gonna earn you more respect than me!?! He didnt ask where he can find a dealer, there are tons and tons of dealers in SF. he asked if there are any dealers in his area that can HOOK IT UP. as you should know because you live in the bay area, that the bay area has PROBABLY one of the most marked up price in the nation because cost of living there is a lot higher and all. If this post ticked you off a little, why dont you just skip it and go on to another post and try to be helpful, instead of trying to be a smart ***.

He is probably asking because just about every Honda dealer in the area has a waiting list for the Fit. Can't get mad at the guy because he asked a question. Why spend all day driving or on the phone, when somebody might have the answer for him here?
