Pretty sure the "R" stands for race or racing.

you see any thing w/ SiR on it over here (america) its fake. teg type r is common. civic type r is fake unless drivers seat is on right side... ive seen 1 of em.

oh and making your si into a type R by motor swap doesnt make it an SiR. its an Si w/ a motor swap

Sorry I just modified what I was asking? I know that the SIR is Japaneese only, and that we have the Integra Type R.But I never bothered to ask what this meant?
So then my next question is If R stands for race, then why bother putting the SI on the back wouldn't it just make it Type-R,catch my drift?

si isnt type r. anywhere besides US and Canland Si is different than SiR. over here our ex is their si and our si is their SiR. cept all out **** is detuned like a ****.
1st started w/ prelude:
S
Si (sport injected,not carborated)
SH (Sprot something, carboraded)
SiR (sport injected race)

then honda started making civic type r and teg type r's etc. all goes back to prelude tho.

I always thought SiR was Sport Injected Racer, and Type R was Type Racer.. I may be wrong...
