Does the FG use the same Dash Kit with the older civics so that if you install an aftermarket radio it doesnt have a big hole?

as far as i know, the dash kit is WAY different. the piece u have to replace to put a single din cd player in is almost $200, and alot more work then its really worth. i might be thinking of something different from what u are asking though

My '05

An 06:

If you notice: The horizontal edges on my '05 ar angled, as the '06's are straight.

No way it would work.

Yeah, there is no way it would work, because the '06 radio is molded into the dash from what I can tell. It was the first thing I noticed on that Si I drove.

But Im sure theres a way to get to it.

Plus Metra build quality is really pretty flimsy. I have had so much trouble with their wiring harnesses too. Had to do all custom wiring in my Eclipse because the wires came out of the plastic housing on the metra.

And their dash kits arent much better. Really thin, brittle plastic.
