Default Natchez Trace pt. 2! (38 pictures)

I don't know how many of you read my other thread where me and my buddy (who bought my F4i) went up to the Trace to ride. Well my Dad has ridden all his life but doesnt own his own bike, currently. Occasionally he rents a Harley for a day and we ride, so that's what we did today- I know what you are thinking, ew, Harley. But usually all the Honda rentals are taken, and Harley rentals are relatively cheap, like $60 for all day.

Anyways, it was a lot of fun, reallllllllly hot of course. Ended up riding until like 4PM, only putting on about 160 miles (ate lunch and took a lot of breaks to hydrate).

On with the pictures.

Woke up about 9AM, headed out about 10.

Getting ready to leave my mom's house:

I didn't take any pictures before lunch (we rode the Trace before and after), and I also didn't take pictures of any of the riding we did after the Trace.

Anyway, here we are chillin at Wendys gettin' some eats.

Going back to the Trace:

At the Entrance

Me and teh Monst4r!

My Dad cheesin' with the Deluxe.

Map of the Trace:

Chillaxin

Ohhh my new favorite:

One of the turns

My Dad on one of the turns

My Dad DRAGGIN FOOT PEG!111!111one Wish I could have gotten some spark action

Me coming around some turns- My Father; Amateur Photographer

Coming to a stop, NOTICE FULL GEAR IN HOT AS BALLZ WEATHER

Resting

My Dad cruising over the bridge

Me on the bridge

Some of the curves

Dad cruising again like a pimp

Another awesome bridge/turn

Reflection in my dads helmet, really cool picture IMO.

Last picture, another great turn

The end

My Dad and I don't see each other much but riding gives us an excuse to hang out

Beautiful indeed!

Thanks for posting those pictures. I'll be in North Carolina sometime this year. Maybe I should send the bike out and ride over to Tennessee

Where is everyone? Are there any service stations along the way?

Looks fun!

Motorcycling is a summer activity by most American standards so you should definitely invest in a nicely perforated jacket.

Not sure but it's not like you can rent 1000RR's or F4i's or anything, it's going to be all sport-touring bikes (less the VFR) and some ATV's...

Actually...sportbikerental.com rents 600 supersports, Ducatis, and the VFR800.

However I wouldn't recommend renting any of them if you just got your license.

Wow...Killer country to ride in. Roads look like they are pretty clear too. That helmet photo was cool too. My dad wants a harley, but mom says no. She not a fan of me riding street bikes either. Bummer for her.
