the Rx simply came with goodies that the R did not. I don't know everything for sure, bc my brochure is still in the mail coming from Japan
Heh, Type-Rx.. a perscription for hotness. or maybe for diet pills so it can get back to the hot tight form of a real type R after adding all that junk and the wieght that comes along with it.

Does anyone know what color the housing of the ITR-X is? I know the ITR is black and the SIR-G is chrome, but I have a set of gunmetal housings (similar to the housing of the CTR) I've asked around and I had someone tell me that they are off of the ITR-X. Just wanted to double check. Thanks for the information but keep them coming.

I was told that the part numbers for all JDM ITR headlights are the same when I inquired at a Honda Verno.
Perhaps you have a set that has faded or that someone in Japan has painted.

I wouldn't Jump to conclusion so soon.
there are a lot of things that Honda has made that has not even passed our eye yet. this may well be one of those things. As confirmed by machgo5go. I have seen the headlights in real life and can vouch for the uBeR Rareness of them.

Who is jumping to conclusions?
I've seen headlights on JDM ITR's that looked gunmetal, so I went to a Honda Verno to see if they had more than one part number for JDM ITR headlights. Now, the people at the dealership could be wrong, it's a common thing that happens in the States. I'm just reporting my experience, that's all.
Why don't you try heading to your local Honda Verno dealership and see if they have a part number or can verify the existence of OEM gunmetal headlights?
I'm curious to learn as much as I can about the various ITR parts, just like the rest of you.

oh yeah i know what are saying. and it totally true about Honda over here in the states getting info messed up. but I have learned from past experience, not everything pops up on their screen. I won't go into detail on anything particular, but those Hyper-Rev books don't always have all the info either. I'm also waiting on more info on these headlight so I can steal them from him and sale them on ebay

Yes please SEARCH!
Seems like this topic makes it around every 3-4 months.
...Then again I guess there are many more redundent threads that are never searched.

There is only one head-on picture of the Integra Type R-x in the brochure. It's on the back page, a small picture in the upper left, of a white car.
It's very hard to tell for sure, but the housings look awfully dark.
