It will work. You will need the upper and lower parts of the intake manifold and expect to make some clearancing on the hood in order to close it. I had to cut some of the ribs out of my hood just to get it to close.

I dont know about the 7th gen but on the 6th gen, the swap is almost impossible. Too much to wire up, youd be better off just swapping the whole engine in.

The throttle body will swap on the 6th gens but its basically pointless. You'll need the whole mani to take advantage of the mass air coming through. You'll also need to port match it since it is bigger.

The intake manifold swap is quite simple and if he is not up for the wiring then he can just delete the secondary butterfly.

Just a freindly heads up that the 03+ 6MT models have different manifolds than the auto trans models.

7th gen is the '06 right?

and whats the reason for swaping out the intake manifolds? does it increase power or just for better cooling?

and will it work with an aftermarket CAI?

OK lets get this straight.....This is for 6th gen cars only.. CL-S is the exact same car as 2 dr accord. Swapping the CL-S intake onto an accord is like so easy it bolts right up. Also to get the secondary butterflies to open all you have to do is install a RPM switch that will activate the butterflies at 4800rpm. Simple as that.

I would not swap the intake onto the newer accords(03+) instead I would use the 6mt accord intake and then use a RPM switch to open the butterflies as stated above. but from what I understand, 2006+ cars have this already (all of them that are V6)
