how can i tell if i have a bad clutch??The car never slips until i hit second gear
and try to bark the tires. It dosent feel like its gripping at all. if i loosin the clutch cable it grips harder but it wont go into gear easy if you loosin it to much it wont go into gear at all. if you tightin it to much it slips really bad???? is this the clutch or cable. It is a stage 1 from eclutchmasters but the cable has never been changed.

As long as you can engage every gear completely, then it's not the clutch cable. Leave the cable adjusted to where it fully engages & disengages at whatever point you're comfortable with. Punching it in 2nd would definitely cause a weak clutch to slip.

I vote clutch is bad. Are you making lots of torque?
