Default Need help with JDM B16a swap in XSi

Recently my buddy and i did a swap in my old ls i sold him
91 OBD0 integra
we swapped in a jdm 89-91 B16a from hmotorsonline.com completely stock
for alittle while we ran the pr4(ls) ecu on it, no big deal
we finally got a obd0-obd-1 conversion harness using a obd1 p72 ecu
When we try to start the car, it just cranks right up
We've tried different chips, and what not nothing worked
Today at work i took my p28 with the ostrich out of my type-r
and took my map off and put a stock b16a map on there..still just spins over, did i forget to connect something, The only main wires i thought i needed to hook up were infact the purple/gray ones from the harness, the Vtec noid and pressure sensor..did i forget something?????

ANy ideas would be appciated this is kindof pissing me off because it runs FINE off the pr4 ls ecu but when trying to put another ecu in there with a chip its just spins over.. no CEL either the CEL goes off
The work on the ecu was done by myself and i've had no problem this ecu/ostrich worked fine in my type-r its the same concept.. i dunno why it wouldn't work in this car...any ideas?

if i remember correctly when you do the obd 0- obd1 swap you need the ecu and distributor to complete the swap. i had a buddy who works for honda and i remember him going from 0-1 and he said he had to change distributors. he was using a p28 ecu tho. try a search for a def answear.

just like what b17integra said, what engine harness are you using? if your car was an LS, you need to add the wire for vtec, vtec pressure, and the O2 sensor. that could be a problem......

92DA is correct about swapping the dizzy. You didn't mention wether or not you swapped the distributor as well.
