Need Honda expert on this one...
what car is this? on my 6th gen civic, it doesnt have a welded nut on the other side. my hole is just threaded so it holds the bolt that way

this is a 99 ek hatch, for some reason it had no nut on the otherside.

And if that doesnt work, get that sucker welded on there, should only be a couple of bucks for something so small

Alright I think I got it working now, I used a bolt that almost fit in the hole but then i shaved it down so it only fits at an angle. So then I tightened it down and it seems to be working.
