pm5 vs pm6
ECUs are different but i think the only problem with using the auto in a 5 speed car is you will get a CEL...which in most places won't allow you to pass state inspection...you shouldn't have a hard time finding a 5 speed pm6 and also if you ever plan to get it chipped for a possible turbo set-up or anything 90-91 pm6 are easier and most people won't chip the 88-89's but it is possible just tricky
If you haven't done the DPFI to MPFI conversion, I wouldn't work anyway because the PM5 is set to run two fuel injectors (primary and auxilary/secondary) and the PM6 is designed to run a dedicated fuel injector for each cylinder.
