how much is an 05 r6 worth with a ton of miles.....
i wanna sell my r6 to get a r1 or zx10....but i dont think i will get much for it being that it has 8,500 miles on it...how much do you guys think its worth
I don't know why these threads are even made, can people not do research to see how much bikes are going for around where they live and check blue book value and make their own decision on what they think their bike is worth and work from there?

despite what most people think, eaither keep your gear or sell it seperate. You will make more money and get more potential buyes for the bike w/o the gear.

ive seen them go for $6k with more miles than that. id be darned if i pay more than $5k though; then again im cheap.
id say hurry and try to sell before the season dies down. cycletrader, ebay, and craigslist are your best bet. you can try enthusiast boards (r6messagenet, r6-forumZ, dcsb.com/.net) but dont expect to get the most money that you can.

True story. Any gear that's sold with the bike is basically "free" to potential buyers. You can offer to sell the gear to them for cheap on top of your asking price or just sell it elsewhere... it doesn't add value to your bike when sold as a package.

i never understand the perception of how anyone that thinks that a modern sport bike with anything over 10,000 miles is considered "high mileage"

Because they dont know better. All they see is bikes for sale for like 2-8k miles so they think thats standard and the bike is going to die soon tahts why people are selling.
