Clutch MC Quick Question?
hey everyone, i have a few questions before i commit to buying a clutch master cylinder for my 98 accord. Advanced auto parts has one made of aluminum casting made by Tru Torque for 65 dollars. AutoZone has one of the same build made by LuK for 75 dollars, and NAPA has one that is identical to the other two from the outside made by United Auto Parts for 18 dollars. My question is has anyone used any of these and which one you would recomend buying. I would love to get the one for 18 bucks but some how feel that it might not be that great a choice. I can only imagine that there are differences internally wiht seals and such that make the NAPA one soo cheap .Any info you guys might have would be greatly appreciated. thanx
Top Tech Tip of The Day.
While you are out and about buying parts, stop by the animal Co-op and get a big syringe and some small tubing. When it's time to bleed the new MC, hook up to the slave bleeder and 'backflush' fluid to the master with the clutch pedal down. This will save you hours of trying to get the system working by regular pedal pump bleeding methods.

Yeah that doesnt sound right, the 18 for a clutch master cylender. Did they show you it? relisticly though the internals should be identical. Just sounds way to cheap. maybe it is just the houseing. Just a thought, no cule.
yea Im not sure cuz i havent see it yet, but from what i can tell it might be a miss use of the picture since o nthe website they use the same picture to represent all the ones available for other cars too. I picked up the LuK one and it seems to be in good working order. I havent instaled it yet but will lwt you guys know how it went. O and thanx for the tip on back flushing the system. I already got the nessesary tools and will be doing it that way. Than again to all your replies
