CUTTING SRS WIRE ON CLUSTER? GOOD OR BAD?
HELLO PEOPLE. I COULDNT RESET THE SRS AND THE ABS LIGHT SO I JUS CUT THE YELLOW WIRE AND THE LIGHTS DID GO OFF AND I WAS JUS WONDERING IF THE YELLOW WIRE IS ANYTHIN ELSE BESIDE THE ABS AND THE SRS LIGHTS? AND IF ITS A GOOD OR BAD THING? PLEASE AND THANK YOU.
yea but when i cut the yellow wire the abs light also went out.. ? iono i couldnt reset it and i did what all the site said and it still didnt wrk and **** so i jus cut the wire. anythin bad bout it?

You could of simply unpuged it from the back of the gauge cluster to get rid of the light, but there is a sequence with a jumper that you do to reset it.</TD></TR></TABLE>
On 98-01 clusters, the ABS was also on the SRS plug. The yellow wire supplies power to the light.
