Anyone put 'EK' full coilovers or shocks on their integra?
Searched, but didn't come up with many results.
I know the fronts are the same, but the rears need some modifying. Anyone ever do this? I imagine just change out the shock mount bushing on the lca, since the stock one is bigger/wider than the actual shock.
How hard is this to do? Any other way of making them fit?
I've heard the civic lca is almost an inch longer than the integra lca... true?
TIA

Integra and Civic front shocks are interchangable. The rears are different though, because the 'fork' or whatever you want to call it where the shock mounts at the bottom is wider on the Integra. That means that the Integra rear shocks will fit on a Civic with some washers as spacers, but Civic shocks will not fit on Integra. But from what you said, I think you already knew that? Kinda confusing what you said, but I've never heard of anyone modifying the bushing to fit Civic shocks on an Integra, I think that the actual trailing arm is too wide.
Yeah... i already know everything that you guys posted.
Im wondering if anyone has changed out the integra lca shock mount bushing for a civic shock mount bushing to make the shocks fit.. How hard is it to do?
Also, is that the only way to make it work?

*edit - you should've searched, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1403118

The front shocks are the same but the 96-00 car has a narrower lower and deeper clevice on the rear because the LCA has a shorter steel bushing in the rubber mount. You cannot install that shock on the rear of the Integra unless you were to grind your sleeve shorter or replace the entire rubber and steel bushing from the later car. Valving and spring perch are the same. </TD></TR></TABLE>
So I guess it is possible to just swap out the bushings to make it work from what CRX Lee said, but like I said I've never heard of that, and it sounds like a lot of trouble and money to get Civic ones, get the old ones pressed out, and the new ones put in. Are you getting a good deal on some Civic shocks from a friend or something?

^Thanks for the info... I did search (for about 15 minutes) but I guess I missed that thread.
I was actually wondering if anyone has actually done the aforementioned method, and how hard it was to do. However, i've searched around and many people has said it is a pain in the *** to get the bushings pressed out.
But yeah, i can get a pretty good deal on some 96-00 Civic Omnipowers ($400). I guess it's too much trouble to go through though. I'll keep searching for some teg coilovers......
