I have a 97 ex coup and i dont like the way the sun roof opens in my car. it slide inside the ceiling and doest go all the way in. Is there any way i can get the whole sunroof and motor from a civic (if they are same size.) and put it in mines. the sunroof of a civic when opens it comes out and goes back when opening over the roof and it tilts when closed to have a small gap. is there anyway i can convert a civic sunroof to my accord or maybe even an accord sunroof that opens that way. if anyone knows please help

 

This conversion is not feasible, unless you own a body shop.

You will need the entire motor assembly and support. Will need some customizing on the roof to ensure all edges of the sunroof match the lines of the accord's roof.
Accord is nice the way it is... so... just enjoy it!!!

arent u the one that wanted to put a b16 in your accord? or some kind of civic motor, now u want a civic sunroof. Why dont u do us all a favor , and go trade in your accord for a civic sense it seems like you want one so bad. That way we dont have to hear about how u want this and that from a civic on your accord.

 

only sunroof i could imagine being close to fitting is one from a CL (may be the same, havent researched much), dont know if they have a popup feature though.
