Default Is there any thing I should do while my tranny is out of my car?

I am planning on replacing my clutch and flywheel this weekend. Is there anything that I should do while the car is in pieces? I have ordered a set of the energy suspension motor mount inserts. What would you add, or modify while your tranny was off?

I don't have money for an LSD or turbo right now, so don't go there

Here's what I did and what I also would have done:

Toda FW
ACT HD-SS
Energy Suspension Engine Mount Inserts
Spoon Magnetic Tranny Drain Bolt
Energy Suspension Steering Rack Bushing

Else:
ATS 4.929 FD or JDM ITR 4.785 FD
ITR LSD or Quaife LSD or Kaaz LSD

If you're getting a Toda or J's flywheel, remember to pick up 3 more flywheel-pressure plate 12pt bolts. The stock flywheel only accepts 6, while the Toda and J's units accept up to 9.

I got away with 6 b/c I didn't know at the time.

If your oil pan gasket or main seal is leaking now would be a great opportunity.

Great suggestions! I have no leaks at all. I ordered a Clutchnet stage 1 kevlar and 8.5 pound flywheel. Since I am 75% certain that I will eventually have boost, I am not considering the new FD. I just noticed that there is a group buy on Quaife LSD's http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=5147. Looks like it will be 795 shipped since there are 14 participants I will contact ImportParts tomorrow to see if they can get close to this, since I have already ordered all the other stuff from them already. My bank account is getting low now. No more spending unless it is very cheeap.

On second thought, after reading this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=161332. I am not sure if I want to mess with an lsd. I knew that I had to open the tranny. I did not realize that it would be such a PITA. I just ordered my helms manual. I will decide after I get it. Hopefully the clutch lasts another couple of weeks at least. The part that really worried me was the shims. The part about breaking the speedo gear does not relax me too much either. What were your experiences with this? I need to complete this in a weekend, since this is my daily driver. What do you guys think? I am mechanically inclined, but I have never changed my own clutch before. I have helped friends, but those were RWD cars.

Default Some of the new toys are have arrived!

Well, I now have a helms manual, and it does not look so bad anymore. I have picked up my new clutch, flywheel and bearing. Now I need a quaife, which I will probably order in 2 weeks. My clutch seems better now. Maybe I got some glazing on my flywheel or something. Since I don't want to spend 140 on the bearings for the diff, where do I find the bearing seperator tool. Craftsman does not seem to make one. Or I don't know what it is called.
Here are some pictures of my current loot:

The flywheel was my favorite part since it was shiney The clutch surface seems replaceable. Hopefully the cost is reasonable.

I was a little disappointed with the disk, since it was not kevlar on both sides. The flywheel side is organic, but it seems like a nice piece.
