Power steering rack leaking on 92 civic dx... please help
I finally finish the swap into the ol 92 civic and find out the steering rack is leaking. I did some research on the forums and I think I found out what I should do instead of replacing the whole thing.
I just wanna check and make sure this is right...
Replace these parts? rack end bushing, new bearing, probably a new c clip and a dust seal
does anyone sell a rebuild kit or sumthin?
thanks... sorry if this has already been posted before-i tried to search

Odds are there is crap in the rack, thus it's leaking, and whats the severity of the leak, your almost better off getting one out of a junkyard, they don't leak unless something happened to it, and i doubt the parts you listed above will fix it, could be the piston leaking, which means replacement. If you ran the rack without the pump, it will eventually gouge the rack, due to lack of oil.
get a 94-01 teg rack. i got mine for 100 off ebay with a lifetime warranty. it has a better steering ratio. you just need a coupler for the steering colum to rack, and you have to bend on of the lines.
honestly , if you just want another civic rack, i'd just get a rebuilt one. it's gonna cost the same to rebuild it yourself. also, power steering racks don't have rack end bushings. what you read is for manual steering racks.
