Farewell Honda-Tech, hello VWVortex...
Well she's gone.
Since the first car I bought I've owned nothing but Honda's.
89 CRX HF
96 Integra LS
89 CRX HF (same one, bought back after I wreckedmyteg)
90 Civic 4 Door
91 Civic Si (ZC motor swap, fully built)
94 Integra LS (B20 motor swap, GSR tranny, AEM brakes, blah blah blah)
95 Integra GSR (winter beater, sold earlier this summer)
I sold my last (the one consumed the most time, money, blood, sweat, and beers) Integra today.
Parted ways with it for $4500 cash.
Pissed so much money into it, and it was fun, but a poor investment.
Mod list -
Suspension and brakes -
4 KYB AGX adjustable struts
4 Neuspeed Sport Springs (1.75F, 1.5R)
Energy Suspension polyurethane master bushing kit with end links (rear inner and outer control arm bushings are not installed, but included)
New outer tie rod ends
OmniPower adjustable front upper control arms with new upper ball joints
4 wheel alignment with print out
AEM over-sized one piece rotor kit, front and rear
EBC green stuff pads front
Generic semi-metallic pads rear
Flat black Eagle alloy 172 series 16" rim (TSW Hock replica) with New (less than 3k) Yokohama AVS-ES100 205/45/16 tires
Engine -
1998 USDM Honda CRV B20B, with 55K (have receipt from Diamond Auto Parts with original VIN)
1994 Acura Integra GSR transmission (have VIN information), with GM SyncroMesh oil
AEM Adjustable Cam gears
New timing belt
GSR clutch disk and pressure plate, ITR throw out bearing
ITR clutch slave cylinder
Used clutch master cylinder
New torque mounts (front left and right)
New power steering high-pressure line and switch
Original LS intake manifold, fuel injectors, fuel line, distributor, wiring harness, and ECU
AGV powder coated red cold air intake (eBay but nice)
AEM cold air intake bypass valve
New cap and rotor, plug wires (lifetime warranty), and NGK plugs (LS spec, go idea to go one step hotter)
DC Sports stainless steel one piece, 4-2-1 exhaust manifold with new dough-nut gasket
OBX high flow catalytic converter/test pipe with extra 02 bung
Custom 2.5" cat back exhaust (aluminized steel, crush bent but not crinkle bent)
Flow Master 60 series import muffler, with polished tip (nice and deep, not ricey or too loud)
Interior -
1999 Integra GSR leather wrapped steering wheel
Skunk 2 weighted shift ****
Cloth seats with no stains or tears
Here's some pics:

(The sub box and kicks are for sale...)

She's gone. Probably the last teg I'll ever own. Maybe a DC5 some day.
Until then, it's hard to beat the 337. More limited then an ITR.

Nothing like rockin 197 HP to the wheels and +200 lbs torque. I thought my B20 Integra was quick, this thing is a rocket.
It's been fun. See ya around H-T. Now I just need to start a new FS thread to get rid of all my left over Honda sh-t.

Congrats on the new car!
I hope that you're one of the lucky ones that doesn't get stuck with too many problems. I hope that thing is out and around more then it's in the shop.

I'm not sure on the trim, but it is a small snail. Spikes 20 psi, holds about 16-17, drops to around 8 @ redline. It runs out of breath real fast, but also spools like theres no tomorrow.
BT will get you in the 300+ @ the wheel range. Gotta like that.
So far it's been good to me. I did have to replace the alternator, but that went twice in my teg.

its no where as pretty as an integra is though...
oh well... your car. have fun!!!</TD></TR></TABLE>
What commercials?
As sleek as my Integra, maybe not...but it does come stock with recaro's, votex body kit, 18" BBS wheels, ebiach and bilstein suspension, aluminum trim, yada yada yada.
Google search for VW 337. Only 1250 in the US
Also, the fact that I was able to gain 30 whp and 50 lbs of torque with a simple software flash (through the OBD port) is pretty damn cool.

1250 in the us isnt there 700 type Rs in the usa? or is it 7000? hmm
ya and what you gained shows how restricted the engine was.. that is pretty cool though. i know with the type s dc5 you can get some pretty good results too.

That torque drops off quick! Must feel like it's dying after 4000 rpm. My buddy's chipped GTI hits full boost by like 2000rpm. It feels quick cuz it spools so fast, but it's really not that fast.
Did you have a boosted honda before?
Vw's are cool, i would never buy one though. I need something reliable and i have a freind with a gti thats only about 2 years old and its a peice of ****.

There was 500 ITR's made in 98 alone. I'm sure there's more than 1250 ITR's out there.
Restricted - no. Under tuned - yes.

Boosted Honda - nope.
And the torque does drop off quick, but it's still making 140 lbs at the wheels at redline. After 3 Integras, all 3rd gens, I can un-biasedly say it's a faster car.
To the well-wishers, thanks.
To the haters, I've bought nothing but Honda's the last 10 years, and I did not desire a 4th Integra. It get's boring after a while.
Not to mention every homo with a corolla or civic revs their engine at every stop sign. Sick of the Honda scene in general. There's a reason you didn't see a body kit, altezza's, or big wing on my car.
