HELP please! car shakes and dont know what it is....
ive been having this problem for months and still havnt figured it out. The problem is, when I accelerate my whole car shakes. Its coming from somewhere up front. It seems to kind of go away when im making a slight left turn while accelerating.
-Ive checked all my bushings/tie rods(replaced one tie rod) and everything was rock solid.
-Ive replaced both driver and passenger side axles.
-Replaced my shocks.
-Motor mounts checked out good.
...im also wondering if it could be my tranny? Its a 01 ITR tranny. Im not sure if this is normal but, when I lift the front wheels off the ground and let the car run in 1st gear both wheels will spin but I am able to stop one wheel by hand. Is that normal with the LSD? Also, im not sure if this will tell you anything, but with the car off and the tranny in 1st, if I spin one wheel the other wheel will spin in the opposite direction.
help me out please...thanks

do you have solid motor mounts? i have window weld in mine to make them hard as rock to get rid of wheel hop and everything shakes streering wheel at ideal etc
i havent had none since....my mounts are rock hard anyways point is that im saying is if he has motor mounts inserts etc it will make the car shake inside
What causes wheel hop anyways? I have welded mounts and wheel hop is gone or at least not hopping as it did before when I go the the track. I don't know maybe you have any inputs, please share.
Is the car lowered? If its too low, the axles inner joint can bind and cause vibration.
Edit: Are your wheels balanced?

That would be normal with a regular diff, but not an LSD.

Did you check your stabilizers? Different car, but sounds like what was going on with my old Beretta. The stabilizer bolt (8 inch bolt that goes through a-arm) was rusted/snapped in two.
