Default will prothane motor mount damage Axle CV boot

i went to the auto part today and asked the sale person that my cv boot ripped.
he told me to check my motor mount.
i bought the axle about 3 months ago and i intalled the prothane motor mount inserts like 1.5 ago.
will this cause the inner cv boot to rip

What I'm sure he was talking about is if your mounts had failed and caused the motor to be out of factory position. this usually will cause premature Axel failure, not just a torn boot.

A CV boot can rip from age, heat, debris, etc.

not that hard, just messy.. have lots of parts cleaner (i use brake cleen) and rags. If you get the kit from the dealer it will come with new clamps.
