Im talking about those big fat round quick disconnect plugs that are used in aircraft wiring, etc. Ive been searching all afternoon and havent come up with much.
Thanks.
Thanks.
search http://www.digikey.com for "amphenol" and i think "tagimi" makes them as well
be forewarned, they are not cheap.

you have several companies that make them. if i was you i'd stick with amphenol, itt-cannon, or souriau. a couple places besides digi-key would be:
http://www.alliedelec.com/
http://newark.com/
a typical part number starts with either ms3126 (cable) or ms3124 (bulkhead) then a number indicating how big the connector is (shell size). lastly, you have a number indicating number of pins or sockets. example would be an ms3126f12-8p.
in this case the part number means it is a cable connector, the f means it has a strain relief for the wire, number 12 shell size (higher this number the bigger the connector), number 8 means 8 holes, and the p means it is a male connector. i hope i didn't confuse anyone but if you ever need any help with mil-spec connectors send me a pm, i'll be glad to help.
if you don't want to use mil-spec connectors, a company called amp has a line of connectors called Mate-n-Lok which is like a molex connector. they are very affordable.
btw, i know this because i build harness assemblies for a living for General Electric... for what it's worth.
