I put the stock corners back in, but I like the bumper lights, I am going to leave those.
So only 3200?! That seems really low, its worth way more according to KBB

beware of the different categories/values that your car will be listed as in KBB though as well...obviously you wont be able to get what its REALLY worth of you're trading it in to a car dealer...

i'd sell it for $4,000 to start off...even though you have over 120k miles. the engine remains in good condition and the engine has no "MODS" from what it looks like...but yes...put back the STOCK corner (marker) lights and then throw those clear ones in for free....if you seem your not getting any hits from anyone...then i'd start to drop the price down little by little...but dont go no lower then $3,100.
other than that...the car looks wonderful. great body, nice paint still....looks very nice...
try to start the price @ $4,000...then make your way down with the price if you notice no interest from any buyers. you always going to get someone that will try to talk the price down...but remember you have a very nice and most importantly "CLEAN" accord...so make sure you get the best deal. for it...
NO ROOM FOR LOW BALLERS!!!
good luck with the SALE!
P.S. it would also be a good idea to put the stock "AMBER" front bumper directional lamps back...if you still have them...

I just got done looking at KBB myself and honestly your car would have to be absolutely mint and all factory everything in order to get 3,900 from an individual buyer which would put it into the "excellent" categorie, unless you have a real dummy for a buyer, so $3,200 is a pretty fair price if you ask me...I'd try to take your neighbor up on their offer because you may not get a better offer than that.
skip right over 6th gen and go straight to 7th gen........
Personally I'd keep it since it has another 200K left in it easily.....

why do i think its going to die in 10k? is there something your not telling us?
you said its maitained really well.....well that engine/tranny will last you a LONG TIME
is it stick or auto?

I can tell you EXACTLY what the car is worth
WHATEVER THE MARKET WILL BEAR
KBB is based on the ASKING prices of cars at dealerships, not on the actual sale prices of cars.
So if I ASK $22,000 for my 85 yota pick up does that really mean an 85 yota pickup is worth $22,000??

accords could go 150k+ miles no problem
IF there is a reason you know it will die soon (10k miles as you stated) because you know you didn't take care of the engine or were beating the **** out of it..whatever reason at all...don't sell it to your neighbor...sell it to someone far far away lol

Yep mine's running strong at 145k original everything, as to that car $3600 seems like a good deal, restocking it will definitely boost it a bit unless your neighbor likes it like it is

you havent been on KBB.com lately I take it? KBB doesnt just give the asking prices of cars at dealerships. Its gives you the price of what your trade in value is as well as what a private party will give you.

Ok well mying is a manual lx, but I have over 190k miles. the engien, and trans still run strong. I take care of all my general matnice, and it runs great. I have had problems with differant sen., but it still runs great. I try not to beat on it, but I still take it out to the drag once a month.
note on this, neither the engien or trans has been rebuilt. the closes thing was a port and polish at 130k, and a clutch at 150k

i agree keep it for a little bit longer.. im tryi to sell mine as wel. but im searchin for OEM parts cuz obviously ppl dont want exhaust and other performance parts.. so b smart and keep it stock.. it will draw more people to your car. i have 150k miles on mine and im askin 3600$ u can easly sell urs for 4200 or so. but trust it will take a little bit to sell.. so jus drive around with a small forsale sign with your number on it
not everyone has 4k cash to spend at ones... people will need to save up. dont rush things and enjoy ur accord

Well I talked to my neighbor, she said she has to wait a few months anyways, so I think I am going to wait til january, then I can save up a good down payment for my new honda.
