Pretty sure an H23 water pump should fit

The problem is that the F22B head doesn't have a space for the antenna

LOL... no the h23a pump won't work.. too big. I did the swap in my old lude. and the water pump you have to get is for the f22a1 sohc.. and then use a h23a timing belt.. the front main and rear seals are the same as the f22a1 and same with oil pan seal. use the h23a valve cover gasket and gromits.

yeah the sohc pump bolts right up but the timing belt won't go on with that pump. is the H23 belt longer? I will almosttry anything at this point but dont want F-up my motor by doing something crazy that doesn't work. Also what tensioner do i need to use? the H23?

yes. the h23a is 1 tooth longer or so. my friends dad is a great mechanic at the honda dealership... he was the one that did my motor.. I did lots of research to put the f22b into my lude. from finding all the gaskets and what not and what motor to get them from... the h23a belt is a bit longer.

are you kidding?!?!?! the chick who answers the phone at the dealership asking how to direct your call is more help than the parts people, especially if you are going to ask about a jdm motor....
