I usually race the 1/4 mile, I guess you could take a typical 1/4 mi. time and cut it in half (divide by 2)

What are the mods on that LS? I have never lost to a LS before. I think its because my car is either lighter or magic Anyways, last time I raced my friends 96 LS with more mods then me I beat him by a long ways.

Does anyone know what a Del Sol SI SOHC runs in the 1/8? Would I have any problem beating one(if my driving is good)?

He was pretty much stock. Intake, 17's on back, regular tires minus hub caps on front. After everything I have read on this board I thought he would be neck and neck with me. It wasn't even close, even on the run where I f'ed up the launch I still pulled hard on him.

I have seen a video of an RS doing okay against an Si, so if you are lighter you might be hitting mid 10's. At the 1/4 mile track I have never seen an LS break out of the 16's without a major power adder.

So my friends CRX with a b16 ran a 9.4 in the 1/8, does that mean it would be a 12.4 second car in the 1/4? That 9.4 time was on crappy street tires too.

I know its a different thing, but on the street I have pulled hard on a SI with i/h/e. I know it was probably a fluke, or the guy didn't know how to drive.

NO, a 9.4 is like a 14.6 or so in the 1/4.

What does a 12 second 1/4 typicaly run in the 1/8? What about a 13 second car?

I ran a 9.92 in the 1/8th on 14" 555R's and 17's on back (in my 96 SE/LS).

My friend ran a 9.4 in his CRX with OBD1 B18B with 4-2-1 header and testpipe.
