I was just curious where everyone buys their part from. I noticed a new store in Great Neck near the old Ultima. Has anyone been there?

i'm from long island so i guess you can consider that east coast right
anyways me and my friend usually get our parts online, but there are some good places around.

drt racing - haven't been there but heard nothing but good things

ultima - the guy there is pretty cool, thats where my friend was going to get his motor dropped in from. the guys s2000 was in one of those import mags i forget which though. http://www.ultimaperformance.com/

east coast imports - these guys are cool, there web page sucks but they know there stuff. they are located in smithtown. http://www.eastcoastimports.com/main_frame.html we have a friend who works there named charlie. if you call ask for him he's cool. his car is on the cover of http://www.b20vtec.com.

WAM - these guys are in middle island. i visted them when they were located in smithtown close to east coast imports. Ed the manager is very cool and knows his stuff. I remember i went in there once to look around and we started talking and i ended up not leaving for like 3 hours very cool guy. http://www.wamny.com/

long island motosports - these guys are cool, me and my friend visted them a few times. they mostly do work on german imports but they are good with japanese cars as well. these guys are down the road from me and they do good work. i don't think they have a web page yet though.

Well I use to get most of my stuff from Ultima. But haven't been there in awhile. They only have one mechanic so it takes a year and a day to get things install. I bought rims from Ed at WAM before. He sold me GSR rims for $200. I didn't know Mike and the guys at Ultima did extensive work like dropping in a motor. I occasionly swing by Smithtown so I'll check out east cost. Thanks for the info

 

yeah they quoted my friend 1100 and about 5 days. he got a better deal with the same guy who droped in charles motor from east coast, 650 for the drop and 3 days down time. yeah its a little farther than smithtown acura and the smithtown mall.

 

do you get your rims online too. I looking for enkei rsf-2. I bought 17 inch Racing Hart ST6 with P7000 from Ultima for $1500. I might check out Precision or just see what Ed has
