well i was going to leave the corner chrome inside as well but as i pulled the tape off it pulled the chrome off in spots so i just painted it all black...i think it still looks good anyways....the tape i used wasnt the right kind i dont think....they actually make a green automotive tape i saw it at autozone....i think that might work better....the paint is about $15 and then if u want to clear coat like i did that might add another 5 or so....you could prolly do this in one day.....not putting them back in and everything prolly just to let the paint dry well...but i left them out in the sun as i painted them and they dried quickly.....its not to hard at all...this was my first try at somethin like this and wasnt to bad at all.....i can give u more details on the actual process if u want just ask me and ill IM them to u or maybe even just put them up on here....thanks for the comments

Looks good. I did the same with a spare set of headlights I had for my CB7. It looks good and I like the output as well. All I need now is Amber corners.
Nice write up

Lowering? I just assumed you were going to do some off-roading. I think that's what Honda thought I would be doing with my 06. That thing needs to come down about 3 inches.

Looks good.

On one of the pics you masked of the back and side section of the turn signal area, but from the finished pics it looks like you blacked everything....

--> On a second look...perhaps it's looking like that since you are using LED turn signals? And not regular 1157 bulbs?

If you blacked it all off then that prevents your turn signal from working properly.

Also..did you reuse the sealant? Any fogging yet?

Clean car

yeah in one of the pics it was masked off....but when i pulled the tape it pulled the chrome off so i just painted it all black......havent had any problems with the signal yet....and i did reheat them when i put them back together and the original sealant did harden back up well....but to make sure we got some clear sealant and put it all around the cracks and anywhere water could possibly get in....no problems so far after washings and such.....to prevent the chrome coming off i think i would try the actual automotive tape they sell at autozone or oreillys....its green i think....i think it would work better than what i used....i used the 3M painting tape....

i really like those inspire lights....wish i could make mine look like that....

H2290 yea man i definately agree with you on that, why does the new accord sit so dam high? i have a coupe 4cyl 5spd, i feel like im in a truck because im so used to driving in cars lower than mine... the worst part about it is that i cant touch the suspension on the new car QQ. im gunna go cry myself to sleep now.
