Put key in, clutch down, attempt to start it, can hear the fuel pump prime, can here the clicking behind the dash, but the starter does not engage and it doesn't try to turn over at all.
All dash lights work, no cel?
Anyone help?
Thanks

did you try to jump it with another car. It might be that the battery has enough juce to power the internal electrical but not turn the engine over. My integra does this if i dont' start it for a couple of days. try jumping it. If that doesnt work, get out the voltage tester and check to see if the starter is getting proper voltage at start up. That should narrow the problem down pretty quick to weather it is a starter problem or relay problem. Check the fuses too.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Tried jumping but no good.
Where abouts is the main relay lcoated in a DC2?
I changed the two relays around in the UHFbox and nothing changed.
Where abouts do I connect the voltage tester to to test the starter?
Thanks

Its a brownish box on the left side of the fuse box with a metal bracket holding it to the car with one bolt. I had to find this cause i have a DA and they are a bit different but no wories. look for mitsuba # rz-0132 on it.
And as for checking the starter(never really done this myself just heard this) i think you can place the positive on the power hookup for the starter and ground the negative to the chassis while someone turns the key.
Hope this helps.
Edit: forgot to mention this, the main relay is under the dash not under the hood.

Okay. well it starts by push starting it, so what does that mean, that the Main Relay is good, and Ignition is good, but most likely the starter is bad?

Its a possibility. The main relay actually is a series of relays connected (or as i understand it to be) one part controls the fuel, one the starter, and i think there is another thing but i can't remember right. these all connect to one switch within the relay that is the click you hear when you first turn the key to the on position and the fuel pump primes up. i have heard that the solder that connects them can crack causing one part to not work while the rest will work (usually in high heat conditions, so it might actually work if the interior of the car is cooler). So it is also a possibility that the starter part of your relay is cracked while the rest is good. and it is also possible that it might be something else.
Just make sure you narrow the it down to the starter before you replace it cause that is a costly item.
There has got to be a DC2 Guy/Gal on here that can help you out better than i can as i have a DA. i think its just too early. you might get some better answers later in the day.

All ready have that. If the ignition switch was faulty it wouldn't run as the signal woudl not transfer for the ignition ect.
How exactly does the clutch switch work, or how do you disable it?

All fixed.
Turned out the clutch switch was bad, so just jumped the connetor and it fired right up now.
I suppose there is one bonus, no stepping on the clutch to start.
